THE WINTER GAMES: AFTER OF THE PANDEMIC WITH A LITTLE BIT OF SMELL COFFEE AND TO THE RHYTHM OF THE VALLENATO
INTRODUCTION
The first games of winter go back to 1924 in France, an olympiad dedicated to the sport of winter. These games are held every four years, the same as the Olympic games, but in the winter season. It’s the twenty-third time that we’re celebrating this game. However, we can’t realize it on two occasions, because the second world war occurred between the years 1940 and 1944.
The winter games stand out for its show, although, it isn't the most relevant of these games, we can see different kind of speed sports and adrenaline rush as its main attraction. These games are very special, because these games are being played during the pandemic. It is changing the forms to do things, given that, it introduces new rules of health for the well-being of the athletes and partners. Today , these games are celebrating to close doors, with fake snow, games in circuits close and other conditions.
The games in this moment meeting more of 5500 athletes around the world that represent approximately 80 nations. Colombia made its only participation so far, in the winter games in Vancouver with a single representative, Canada in 2010 . Currently, Colombia has three representatives in three different categories, such as Alpine Skiing, Cross-country skiing and speed skiing . We’re hoping and wishing the better to these warriors. CONCLUSION
In our opinion the winter games not only represent an olympic game, the winter games represent the way to forward the pandemic with responsibility and unity , because, this games unites us in a same feeling through the sport. Finally, we’re seeing the improvement of technologies and the logistics against the consequences due the pandemic.
